Solstice Advanced Materials led on the industrials rotation while the enrichment-technology rung lagged, with the fuel cycle and SMR names mostly quiet.

The leader was Solstice Advanced Materials (SOLS), up 4.3% to $63.06 on the conversion-and-deconversion chokepoint — the fluorine chemistry that turns uranium oxide into the UF6 the rest of the fuel cycle runs on. There was no company-specific catalyst on the session; the Honeywell-spun specialty-materials name rode the day's broad industrials-and-materials rotation, with the Dow up about 1% and old-economy materials leading while megacap tech stalled. The structural case is its pending Element Solutions acquisition and its position in the fluorochemical supply strait; the next company-level test is third-quarter results on November 4.

The laggard was Silex Systems' ADR (SILXY), down 4.7% to $12.20 on its last Sydney session, on the enrichment-and-HALEU chokepoint — the separation technology that gates domestic fuel independence. There was no fresh news; the pre-revenue laser-enrichment name drifted with no update on GLE's Paducah program, which remains a multi-year commercialization story after January's DOE award left GLE with a far smaller allocation than its HALEU rivals. Lightbridge (LTBR), on the advanced-fuel and cladding rung, fell alongside it, −3.3% to $5.23.

The rest of the complex was quiet and mixed. Instrumentation and services split — Mirion (MIR) +2.1% to $15.24 against Fluor (FLR) −3.0% to $45.18 — while the SMR-platform rung was soft: NuScale (SMR) −1.8% to $5.58 with Oklo (OKLO) +0.9% to $27.48 the exception. The uranium-and-fuel rung barely moved: Cameco (CCJ) −0.2% to $80.51 and Centrus (LEU) −0.2% to $109.88, the two names that straddle the mining-to-enrichment strait. The restarts-and-utilities rung, where the datacenter power-purchase demand lands, was two-sided: NextEra (NEE) +0.9% to $78.86 and PSEG (PEG) +0.8% to $70.86 against Constellation (CEG) −1.7% to $258.84 and Talen (TLN) −0.5%. Zirconium supplier ATI fell 3.3% to $183.07 and GE Vernova −2.0% to $890.33.

The calendar ahead is dense and sits on the reactor-and-fuel chokepoints. BWXT reports third-quarter results November 2, the clearest read on the naval-and-SMR forgings rung; NANO Nuclear's fiscal year-end update follows November 15. The Xe-100's NRC construction-permit 18-month review milestone lands December 16, a direct gate on the high-temperature-reactor timeline. Into year-end, Bulgaria's Kozloduy Units 7-8 AP1000 final investment decision and the definitive agreements meant to replace the Westinghouse/US-government binding term sheet are both expected — the two events that would convert policy backing into contracted buildout.
